Visit of Austria's Federal President Dr. Heinz Fischer
Dr Heinz Fischer im Museum 1915-18 On August 22 President Dr. Heinz Fischer payed visit to our award winning museum in the Kötschach-Mauthen town hall. With great interest he followed the tour guided by our museum's custodian Karin Schmid. President Fischer also congratulated our Executive Vice President Gabi Schaumann for the objective portrayal of history.

Special exhibition 2011 „Women at war“
This year's special exhibit became a big success. We had many visitors and a lot of press and TV coverage. Several museums showed interested in taking on the show.
